After weeks of preparation, our baby girl’s nursery is finally complete! We have taken our time to make sure everything is perfect and we are so excited to share it with y’all!
When we moved in to this house, this room was the previous owner’s baby boy nursery. One wall was grey and we used it as our office for over a year until we decided it would be our future nursery as well. We tossed around the idea of keeping the grey wall but ultimately decided it would be painted either pink or blue when the time came.
The day of our gender reveal, we spent the evening shopping for pink paint and painting supplies. The very next day, the grey wall was no more. Then began the shopping!
We had received the crib, mattress, and changing table for Christmas from our parents (thanks y’all!) and we were given money for our rocker. We found a rocker at Target that was called the “Addison” model. How perfect! It was delivered 4 short days later haha!
Once we got the furniture set up, it was time to start shopping for bedding and decor. There are so many bedding sets out there but we couldn’t nail down a style we were looking for. Finally while laying in bed at 10pm on a Sunday night, we literally came across the same bedding set at the same time on amazon and knew it was the one. Shout out to Amazon Prime 2 day shipping for satisfying this pregnant woman’s impatient needs! We ordered a few options (extra sheet, changing pad, and changing pad cover) to add a little extra to the room. Target happened to have an accent rug that matched the bedding which we believe was fate!
Then we moved on to the wall decor. I have tons of pins on Pinterest with a circle name sign to go above the crib so I knew we had to have one. I managed to find one on Etsy that was unfinished meaning we could make it match her room to a T. After days of getting the stain just right and a few other issues I ran in to, I finally got to hang it and completed her room!
The adventure sign, cactus measuring stick, read to me sign, white shelves, and mint arrow were purchased at our local Hobby Lobby during their 50% sale. The flowers on the white shelves and the mint colored wire shelf/diaper holder were from HomeGoods. See my previous post on my top 5 products to find the link for the letter board.
It feels so good to have the nursery done but I just know that I’m going to be so impatient for the next 23 weeks. We are ready to meet you baby girl!
